Artist born in south of france in French Riviera. After 10 years all over the world he is back to his roots where his passion for the wood start in  Le domaine de Pierrascas. He found there unfinished artwork made in 2006 from Olive Wood when he was starting woodcarving. Finish this unfinished artwork 10 years after is a symbol to renew his past to his present life as achieve artist with 10 years experience. its achievement of himself, a page of his past turn to give space to future to be written.

The vineyard is located in French Riviera. its practice organic farming since 1983 and was one of the first area to get the bio label. This unique place is own by Debouard DeLaforest family, artist friends. The artist lived there during one year before leaving to Reunion Island in 2007 and never get time to achieve artwork he start there. It was a unique experience to live in a vineyard from inside. He can create outside surrounded by nature & bicentenary magnificient olive wood trees where the atmosphere smell souvenir of history past in the air.

The species is cultivated in many places and considered naturalized in all the countries of the Mediterranean coast. The olive branch was often a symbol of abundance, glory and peace. The leafy branches of the olive tree were ritually offered as emblems of benediction. The olive has been the symbol of peace, wisdom, glory, fertility, power and purity. Olive wood is very hard and is prized for its durability, colour, and interesting grain patterns.The yellow or light greenish-brown wood is often finely veined with a darker tint; being very hard and close-grained, it is valued by woodworkers.
