COMO Shambhala
COMO Shambhala Estate - our wellness retreat in central Bali - will be transformed from July 18th to October 18th as open spaces filled with wooden sculptures by artist Mickaël Obrénovitch as part of his 'Human Roots' exhibition.
French-born artist Obrénovitch uses 200-year-old teak wood from Java for his work, influenced by the notion of the Indonesian forest as Asia’s lung.
With the natural world as the theme, the work will be on show at COMO Shambhala Estate in the lobby, tea house and Ojas lounge. Other pieces will be exhibited at sister property Uma by COMO, Ubud, in the COMO Shambhala Retreat wellness sanctuary, the pool bar, lobby and Italian-inspired restaurant Uma Cucina.+ fly_shambhala.pdf
