Mickael Obrenovitch is one of the artists invited to create sculptures for Expo Astana 2017. The exhibition includes five conceptual sculptures in keeping with the «energy» theme and will be showing at the Kazakhstan pavilion. The artist designed each piece with both spirit and imagination to symbolize the possible future sources of energy using an abstract vision.

This artwork is an over dimensioning of the infinity symbol ∞. It s a parallel between renewable and all future energy we still have to find on the earth & the universe. The mirroring effect on metal makes the visitor question their place, and how they can participate in this human evolution.

The Cinetic vortex tunnel effect depends on the visitor s position observing the artwork. It allows the visitor to question both the dimension and its significance between real and unreal. The dimension of the universe and quantic theory.

The solar wall is designed with a similar structure to the honeycomb. It rotates from the central axis of 360º in 24h following the cycle of the sun. This artwork creates awareness and importance of solar energy for our future to live in symbioses with nature.

This art piece symbolizes the sun and the solar power it produces. Like a fission of molecules from the center which release energy. This installation will allow the visitor to visualise the potential use of solar energy and its rising future. The artwork structure made of metal consists of a central ball with multiple rods converging towards the center.

Newton’s Cradle is monumental interactive art installation. Its using design & movement of kinetic balls created by Isaac Newton. Purpose is to show to the visitor the kinetic energy and physically see how any human action can impacting in chain of reaction your environnement.
